7 Year limit for completion of all 3 USMLE Steps

Most state medical licensing boards require that you complete all 3 Steps of USMLE within a 7 year limit (Exceptions exist - contact each state individually).

The following states require completion of all 3 USMLE Steps within 6 years: Rhode Island

The following states require completion of all 3 USMLE Steps within 10 years: Maryland, Kansas, California

The following states DO NOT have any time limit for completion of all 3 USMLE Steps: Michigan, New York, North Carolina, Louisiana, Delaware

Hi Licensing expert...
I was wondering if you could help me with my temp license application...
I graduated in 2001 from Ukraine and have matched into a program in Virginia. In the application for temporary license, there is a clause:

"List in chronological order all professional practices since graduation, including internships, residencies, hospital affiliations and absences from work. Also list all periods of non-professional activity or employment for more than three months. PLEASE ACCOUNT FOR ALL TIME."

Since my graduation, I have been in India waiting for my immigration paperwork, then I have been in the USA since 2002 preparing for USMLE at home, at Kaplan etc with some jobs and volunteer work here and there...

My question is how do I list the time that I was studying for the USMLEs at home and was not working.

Thanks for your help.
