You have already spent thousands of dollars on USMLE exams, ERAS application, coming to the US and perhaps getting some USCE. Is there anything else that you need to do so that you don’t miss out on getting a residency spot this year? While you are ready to submit ERAS application, LoRs and Personal statement to the program directors, how do you know what they expect from you? How do PDs screen applicants? How do they weigh USMLE scores against a high quality USCE with strong LoRs? How do they reject you simply based on a personal statement? How do they want you to present a case during the interview? How do they want you analyze a case that they present to you? How do they read and interpret your personality based on body language? How do you convince them that you truly are the best fit for their program?
